Frequently asked questions
Is Dentity free? How do I book a dentist online? Who sees my health record? Answers to the most common questions from patients and dentists.
Is Dentity free for patients?
Yes. The self-assessment, searching for dentists, online booking and your health record are free for patients. You pay the clinic for your treatment, as usual.
How do I book a dentist online?
Search by city or service, open a clinic, choose the service, the dentist and a free time, and confirm. You receive an SMS confirmation and a reminder before the visit.
Is the self-assessment a diagnosis?
No. It helps you understand your oral health and decide whether and how soon to see a dentist. Only a dentist who examines you can diagnose.
Who can see my health record?
Only you, and a clinic you have booked with if you allow it. Every time a clinic opens your record it is logged.
Are the dentists verified?
A dentist's medical council licence is checked before their profile shows a verified badge.
How do I pay, and does my insurance work?
You pay at the clinic. Each clinic lists the basic and supplementary insurers it accepts, so you can check before you book.
Can I cancel or change my appointment?
Yes, from your bookings. Some clinics ask for notice before the visit; their policy is shown before you book.
I am a dentist. How much does it cost?
Starting is free: a profile, online booking and the clinic calendar are on the free plan.
