Dentity terms of use
Version 0.2 · last updated September 30, 2026
This text is a draft and has not yet had legal review; it may change.
1. Who we are and what Dentity does
Dentity ("we", "us", the "Platform") is a technology service operated by [Company legal name], [registration number], [address]. We are a software platform, not a healthcare provider. Our role is to make dental care easier to organise and to help dentists and clinics manage their services better. In practice that means:
- helping you find dentists and clinics and book appointments;
- helping you keep your own dental record in one place and share it with the clinics you choose;
- helping clinics manage schedules, queues, reminders and their public profile;
- offering an educational self-assessment.
We do not examine patients, diagnose, prescribe, treat, or employ the dentists listed on the Platform.
2. Treatment is between you and your dentist
Dentists, clinics, labs, imaging centres and other providers on the Platform are independent professionals or businesses. They are not our employees, agents or partners.
- Diagnosis, treatment, advice, results, fees, refunds and any mistake, delay, complication or dispute about care are outside our scope and our responsibility. They are a matter between you and the provider, and are governed by the provider's professional obligations and the applicable law.
- Appearing on the Platform, or carrying a "verified" mark, only means the provider gave us the documents we asked for. It is not a recommendation, guarantee or assessment of quality.
- Ratings and reviews are opinions of their authors.
- If you have a complaint about treatment, contact the provider first, then the relevant professional or regulatory body. We can help pass on your message but cannot decide the matter or compensate you for it.
3. The self-assessment is not medical advice
The self-assessment and any tips, scores or rewards are educational. They are not a diagnosis and do not replace an examination by a dentist. Never delay or skip care because of something you read on the Platform. In an emergency, call the emergency services (115 in Iran) or go to the nearest emergency department.
4. Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be at least [18] years old, or use the Platform through a parent or legal guardian.
- We may limit or close an account that breaks these terms, harms others or the Platform, or is used to abuse booking or messaging.
5. Booking, payment and promotions
- A booking is an arrangement between you and the clinic. Clinics set their own services, prices, opening hours and cancellation rules.
- Payment for care is made directly to the clinic unless the Platform clearly says otherwise.
- Promotions, discounts and credits are offered and honoured by the clinic that issues them.
- Clinics may apply a no-show policy, for example a limit on self-booking after repeated missed appointments. The rules are shown to you when they apply.
6. Acceptable use
Do not: use another person's identity or details; upload unlawful, false or harmful content; try to break, overload or scrape the Platform; send messages that are not related to real care; or use the Platform to harass anyone.
7. Your data
How we handle personal and health data is described in our Privacy and Data Policy, which is part of these terms.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Platform available but provide it "as is". It may be interrupted for maintenance, faults or reasons beyond our control. We may change or remove features. If we change these terms materially we will tell you in the app or by message, and the new version applies from the date shown.
9. Limits of our liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for any care given or not given by a provider, or for its outcome;
- we are not liable for loss caused by provider information being wrong or out of date, by missed or changed appointments, or by a provider's decision not to treat you;
- our total liability to you for anything connected with the Platform is limited to [amount / the fees you paid us in the last 12 months, if any];
- nothing here limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the applicable law. Disputes will be handled by [competent court / arbitration in city], unless mandatory law says otherwise.
